All 41 trapped workers inside the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi have been rescue after 17 days in a mammoth activity that has made international headlines.
The rescue groups on Tuesday achieved a significant leap forward as each of the 41 caught laborers were saved from the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi. The laying of lines through the rubble at Silkyara tunnel was finished after difficult work of 17 days today.
Rat-hole miners were seen getting out of the Silkyara burrow in Uttarkashi with their drillers. In addition, NDRF and SDRF groups were seen entering with their stuff to empty the 41 caught laborers at the breakdown site.
